Please acknowledge the following terms and conditions for Assistor Maki services:

1. This interpreting service is conducted by consecutive interpretation where interpreter listens to a speaker, takes notes, and then relays the message in the other language after the speaker pauses.
2. This interpreting service will not provide/issue memos, notes, or reports in any form; any written record shall be taken by the party requesting this service.
3. Phraseological expressions such as idioms, proverbs, and cliches shall be kept to a minimum to enable smooth and practical communication between the concerned parties.
4. After reading this Conditions and Rates, Client is requested to fill in and send the Contact for Service form to Assistor Maki to ask his availability.
5. In the event of an on-site service, this service is provided on the “engaged-time” basis that includes both travel times to and from the requested place of interpreting activity.
6. Before accepting to provide the service, Assistor Maki will state the approximate time required for his journey to Client location (“Travel Time”).
7. Service start-time shall be from the time Assistor Maki leaves his office to meet Client, or meeting time less Travel Time.
8. Service end-time shall be the time when interpreting service ends plus Travel Time.
9. In the event of an internet-communication, the service start-time shall be from the point that Client accepts the starting of the interpreting activity, and the end-time shall be the point that Client agrees the ending of the interpreting activity.
10. Upon receiving the Contact for Service form, Assistor Maki will reply by e-mail or phone to accept your request (“Acceptance”) with his start and end times that includes Travel Time for both ways, or decline your request. Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee a response. Assistor Maki reserves the right to not reply to all inquiries.
11. Acceptance by Assistor Maki will include quoting of start and end times; with added Travel Times if relevant, and total estimated fee. If customer accepts (“Customer Acceptance”), the service will commence from start of Travel Time to site.
12. Payment is requested to be made at the end of service in cash or by other mutually acceptable method.
13. Cancellation of this interpreting service after Customer Acceptance described in 7. above shall be subject to a cancellation charge as detailed in the Rates table below.

利用規約と料金

アシスター・マキの通訳サービスの以下利用規約をご了承ください。

1. この通訳サービスは逐次通訳により提供されます。通訳者が話者の発話を聞き取り、必要に応じてメモを取り、話者が一時停止した後に、もう一方の言語で内容を口頭で伝えます。
2. この通訳サービスでは、メモ、ノート、報告書など、いかなる形式の文書の提供・発行は行いません。書かれた記録は、サービスを依頼する当事者が自ら作成してください。
3. 慣用句、ことわざ、決まり文句などの表現は、関係者間の円滑かつ実務的なコミュニケーションを可能にするため、最小限にとどめてください。
4. 本「利用規約と料金」をご確認のうえ、「サービスに関するお問い合わせ」に必要事項をご記入いただき、アシスター・マキ宛に送信してください。マキの対応可能状況を確認するための手続きとなります。
5. 現地でのサービス提供の場合、本サービスは「拘束時間」ベースで提供されます。拘束時間には、通訳活動場所への往復の移動時間も含まれます。
6. サービス提供の可否を判断する前に、アシスター・マキはクライアントの所在地までの移動に要するおおよその時間（「移動時間」）を提示します。
7. サービス開始時刻は、アシスター・マキがクライアントと会うために事務所を出発した時刻、または「面会時刻 － 移動時間」となります。
8. サービス終了時刻は、通訳業務が終了した時刻に移動時間を加えた時刻となります。
9. インターネットを介した通訳の場合、サービス開始時刻はクライアントが通訳活動の開始を了承した時点、終了時刻はクライアントが通訳活動の終了を了承した時点となります。
10. 「サービスに関するお問い合わせ」を受領後、アシスター・マキはメールまたは電話にて、開始・終了時刻（往復の移動時間を含む）を提示したうえで依頼を受諾（「受諾」）するか、または依頼を辞退します。なお、フォーム送信は返信を保証するものではありません。すべての問い合わせに返信する義務は負いませんので、ご了承ください。
11. アシスター・マキによる受諾には、開始・終了時刻（必要に応じて移動時間を加算）および概算料金の提示が含まれます。お客様がこれを了承した場合（「お客様の了承」）、サービスは現地への移動開始時刻から開始されます。
12. サービス終了時に、現金または双方が合意した方法でのお支払いをお願いいたします。
13. 上記11.に記載された「お客様の了承」後に通訳サービスをキャンセルされる場合、以下の料金表に記載されたキャンセル料が発生します。
